Arthurian Legend

This page provides a way to find alliterative poems addressing the Arthurian Matter of Britain. The major manuscripts from the Middle Ages are Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and the Alliterative Morte D'Arthur, though there were a vraiety of lesser-known poems. You can find links to the Middle English version of most of those poems here.
