Christopher Webster is a Canadian author..His work includes historical novels set in Dark Age Europe, such as Hrothgar and Sword of Albrion and science fiction, such as Blue Moon.
His alliterative verse includes the epic poem Hengest. His Anglo-Saxon Sagas and Songs also contains the alliterative poems "Hengest's Last Battle", "The Lay of Beow", "The Lay of Ingeld", and "The Lay of Ellendune" based on Anglo-Saxon sources, and "Thormod the Skald", based on 'Thomas the Rhymer'.
