Thaliarchus is the pen name of a British scholar of Middle English. His major poetic project is a mecha space opera/epic poem, Cosmic Warlord Kin-Bright, published on the gaming site, itch.io. It is primarily in blank verse, but characters from one of the cultures in conflict in his epic sometimes speak in alliterative verse [it forms their highest register]. He also posts occasional experiments in alliterative verse to his cohost site, including Finnsburh Reimagined, Homeward runs heart-parth, Daringly, daffodils, A career on the rock tips, From a bus with a bow wave, and Roof-tiles under rain-cloud, among others.
