Tom Branfoot is a British poet, writer-in-residence at Manchester Cathedral and a recipient of the New Poets Prize 2022.
His work includes the poetry collection Boar, a sequence of poems in experimental free verse formatted in half-lines inspired by Middle English alliterative poetry (though without structural alliteration). Excerpts from Boar include:
