Steven Searcy is the author of a poetry collection, Below the Brightness (Solum Literary Press, 2024). His poems have appeared in many venues, including Southern Poetry Review, Commonweal, and The Windhover. He grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and has received degrees from Vanderbilt University and Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently lives with his wife and four sons in Atlanta, Georgia, where he works as a fiber optic telecommunications engineer.
