Rio Wulfmare’s writing has appeared in Forgotten Ground Regained, Amon Hen, and his Instagram page. His Old English-style alliterative verse poems are inspired by the fragility of modern lyricists like Aurora and Editors' musician Tom Smith and draw upon the non-fiction vulnerability of New Nature Writing and psychogeography. An alumnus of the University of Essex’s BA creative writing programme, Wulfmare now teaches English in Essex, UK, engulfed by Lego, books, and the ocean.
His alliterative poetry includes:
- Star-Moment in the Summer, 2026 Issue of Forgotten Ground Regained
- Children of Dusk, discussed in Joe Hoffman's blog post, The Hunt for Alliterative Melody
- "Ghosts of Battle", forthcoming in Amon Hen
