Rachel Trousdale
Rachel Trousdale is a professor of English at Framingham State University. Her poems have appeared in The Nation, The Yale Review, and Literary Imagination, among other places. Her poetry book Five-Paragraph Essay on the Body-Mind Problem was selected by Robert Pinsky for the Cardinal Poetry Prize and will be published by Wesleyan University Press in 2024. Her scholarly work includes Humor, Empathy, and Community in Twentieth Century American Poetry and Nabokov, Rushdie, and the Transnational Imagination. She lives in Massachusetts with her spouse, two children, and a back yard of uncountable wildlife.
