Jacob Riyeff has published two books containing modern English alliterative translations of Old English poems (plus some of his own) -- Lofsangas: Poems New and Old and O Shining Light. Old English Meditations for Advent and Christmastide, plus a book of translations from other Germanic languages (Begelende). He is an associate professor at Marquette University and a Benedictine oblate.
