Forgotten Ground Regained

James Blish

James Blish (1921-1975) was a science fiction and fantasy author, best known for his "Cities in Flight" novels and novelizations (with his wife J.A. Lawrence) of the Star Trek TV series. His alliterative poem "The Coming Forth" appears in Dennis Wise's critical anthology of modern alliterative verse. It was originally published in the Beloit Poetry Journal, Spring, 1957.
