Helen Evans began her career as a journalist and in public relations, before making a mid-life poetry pilgrimage to the University of St Andrews, where she earned a master’s degree with distinction in creative writing. From 2019 to 2025, she facilitated the Inner Room poetry project in Devon, a pioneer lay ministry from the Parish of Central Exeter. She is published by HappenStance Press and Mariscat Press.
Her alliterative poetry includes Birdfight at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village in Issue 10.
