Chris Bolland
Chris Bolland is a recent graduate of California State University, Sacramento’s Master of Arts program in History. His research focused on nineteenth-century American history and the ways societies remember and reinterpret the past. As a scholar and historical reenactor, he has long been drawn to the intersection of academic history and the lived experience of the past for people of all times and places. Inspired by the works of Tolkien, Lewis, Guite, Coleridge, and Owen, his poetry reflects an enduring fascination with memory, myth, and those who never leave their names in a history book.
