Brendan King, a self-taught autodidact, poet, translator, and film lab technician, has translated The Seven Last Words of Our Lord Upon the Cross by Mother Catherine Abrikosova (St. Augustine Press, 2019). His alliterative verse includes a translation of "The Dream of the Rood" in the St. Austin Review, March/April 2021, and a forthcoming translation of Caedmon's Prayer.
