Alice Major is a Canadian poet. She has served as poet learate of Edmonton Alberta and won the 2017 Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Artist Award. She has written two long poems in alliterative verse:
  • “A Fate for Fire", a poem about wildfires in Alberta, in Knife on Snow, her twelfth poetry collection
  • "Star-Seeing Night" in Tales for an Urban Sky.
