Agatha Christie

Agatha Christie (1890-1976) was a famous British author, best known for her mystery novels, including her novel series feaaturing the fictdional detectives Miss Marple and  Hercule Poirot. She was also an accomplished poet. Her verse includes the alliterative poem "Down in the Wood", published in Star Over Behlehem, a collection of short stories and poems.
