Patrick Rothfuss is a noted fantasy author, author of two novels in a projected trilogy, The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear.
Two short alliterative excerpts from The Wise Man's Fear, "Sought We the Scrivani" and "Fast Came Our Fela", are published in Dennis Wise's critical anthology of modern alliterative verse. He has also published "The Lay of the Eastern King" in Clash of the Geeks (see this blog post for context)
