Jordan M. Poss is an American writer from Rabun County, Georgia, author of No Snakes in Iceland, a ghost story set in Viking era Iceland, which contains a large number of short, embedded alliterative poems in Skaldic meters. He has also written two historical novellas (The Last Days of Marcus Tullus Cicero, Dark Full of Enemies), and Griswoldville, a Civil War era coming-of-age story. He is also the author of THE WÆLSINGS’ REVENGE, an alliterative epic, published by Illuminations of the Fantastic, a literary magazine that primarily publishes speculative fiction and poetry. He has also posted alliterative verse on social media, including his draft poem Edwin and Cadwalla.
