Adam Roberts

Adam Roberts is a British Science Fiction and Fantasy author with a Ph.D. in English literature, who teaches English literature and creative writing at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is best known for his novels Salt, Gradisil, Yellow Blue Tibia, and for Jack Glass, which won the 2012 BSFA Award for Best Novel, and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award. His alliterative verse includes alliterative translations of The Seafarer, The Batle of Maldon, and Caedmon's Hymn, and two as-yet unpublished works: a Beowulf translation, and a Beowulf sequel, Beowulf in Hel.
