Peter Sutton is a British poet, playwright, and translator, and the former Head of Publications at the UNESCO Institute for Education in Hamburg. He has published a translation of William Langland's alliterative medieval classic, Piers Plowman, multiple plays, including "Elgar and Alice" and "The Prebumptious Mr. Punch", and several poetry collections, including Poems of Armenian War and Peace, Elgar Country, and A Colorful Age.
His alliterative verse includes the poems "The Healing Hills" and "The Hereford Statue" in Elgar Country.
