Forgotten Ground Regained

Fiona Richardson is a retired librarian living in Oxford, in the UK, with a deep interest in poetry, myth and folklore, and fantasy literature. She is also a Tolkien fan (and feels privileged to live in his home city). She began to explore alliterative verse during the 2020 COVID lockdown, when she did an online course in Old English literature to help keep herself sane, and the habit stuck.
