Brandon Sanderson is an American Science Fiction and Fantasy author, best know for his Mistborn series and the Stormlight Archives.
His alliterative verse includes a series of spells -- “I live the last light …”, “I banished the beast …”, “Word-Weaver I am …”, “I find you faulty …”, “Of measured meter …”, and “I defy you …” -- chanted by characters in his novel, The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England.
