Bertha Rogers is a poet, translator and artist with hundreds of published poems and several poetry collections, including Wild, Again; Heart Turned Back; Sleeper, You Wake; Even the Hemlock; A House of Corners; and The Fourth Beast. She has been nominated several times for the Pushcart Prize and was the first Poet Laureate of Delaware County, New York. Her publications include a Beowulf translation (which she also illustrated) and a translation of the Exeter Book riddles into alliterative vese.
