Amanda Gorman

Website: www.theamandagorman.com @TheAmandaGorman on X (formerly Twitter)
Amanda Gorman is an American poet best known for her poem, "The Hill We Climb", which she performed at the 2021 U.S.Presidential inauguration. She has published one collection of poetry, Call Us What We Carry. Her poems often contain alliterate heavily, even though they are laid out as free verse. At their most impassioned, her poems fuse the drama of African-American oratory with the linking letters of Anglo-Saxon alliterative verse.
