Forgotten Ground Regained
Coral Castles
There are coral castles, · battlements crumblingbeneath the sea · (I’ve heard it said)before the onslaught · of ocean’s warming,climate-harrowing. · Hand cannot erasenor tender touch · rebuild those towers, naught but Time · and Nature, topplingmy own high halls · and haughty pretensesthat I am other · than ocean-tears.
